We knit a closely meshed network with many international partners

Since its becoming the IBB gladly works together with partners on site in all events and projects. In some cases we have organised multilateral co operations and corporate activities with up to ten partners. From the successful teamwork stable and firm partnerships develop again and again. A good example is the exhibition “Jews in Poland”. It is conceptualised and realised by our partner from Krakow: the Polnisch-Deutsche Zentrum. The Anne-Frank House Amsterdam, one of our oldest partners, translated it into German. The exhibition has been en route in the German-speaking region since 1999.

The most current example is our multilateral conference: “Building green bridges – international environment project workshop”, which brought young people from Germany, Italy, Belarus and the Ukraine together in Berlin in November 2007.

The participants connected a strong commitment for the environment and climate protection. They developed ideas for projects for prospective transboundary collaborations together, obtained insights into the work of different initiatives and gained new knowledge by talking with the Federal Environment Ministry in Germany.

The development of such a network is a challenge for the involved partners and increases the success of international encounters. Understanding and trust grow in these partnerships and open new ways for political education, which were closed just a few years ago.

Our partners are from the following European cities: Amsterdam, Bratislava, Budapest, Krakow, Zgorzelec / Görlitz, Lviv, Minsk, Prague, Sarajevo, Riga, Vienna, Manchester and beyond.

Furthermore we stay in close touch with Istanbul.
